The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team held it’s first official practice at Memorial Gym on Friday, October 12. VUCommodores.com caught up with Head Coach Melanie Balcomb, as well as players Christina Foggie, Jasmine Lister and Jasmine Jenkins to get their thoughts as the 2012-13 season commences.
Preseason Honors
The preseason honors have continued rolling in f or Vanderbilt. As a team, the Commodores have been ranked No. 12 and 20 nationally in Athlon and Lindy’s, respectively.
CollegeSportsMadness.com also had several Commodores among their Preseason All-SEC selections. Foggie was first team, Tiffany Clarke and Stephanie Holzer made the second team.
