MBB practice gets underway

Oct. 12, 2012

Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings began his 14th season with as the Commodores’ mentor as practice got underway on Friday on the main floor of Memorial Gym. Stallings met with the media before practice began.

“I’m excited about these guys, and what they’re about, or what they seem to be about,” Stallings told the media gathering. “They’ve really been incredible with how hard they’ve worked, how eager they are to learn and to get going. I think our fans will really enjoy this basketball team, because they are going to play very, very hard. They’ve already demonstrated that to us. Obviously, you don’t know how many wins that’s going to correlate to, but I know they’re going to play very hard, and they’re going to be a group our fanbase is going to enjoy.”
