FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Vanderbilt women’s soccer team hits the midway point of its 2012 Southeastern Conference season on Friday, Oct. 5, with a 7 p.m. CT game at Arkansas.
We will provide live coverage of the game through Cover It Live, while Arkansas will host live statistics and premium video on their web site, arkansasrazorbacks.com.
After six games of SEC play, the Commodores and Razorbacks are tied for eighth place in the league with seven points apiece. Vanderbilt has four ties in league play to go along with a victory over Mississippi State. Arkansas has earned Friday night victories over Kentucky and Tennessee the past two weekends.
After the Arkansas game, Vanderbilt travels to Baton Rouge, La., to take on LSU. The Tigers have earned five points by defeating Mississippi State and earning ties against Alabama and Georgia. Sunday’s game will be televised by SportsSouth, with Dave Baker and Katie Witham calling the action. Outside of the SEC footprint, the game will be available on ESPN3. LSU’s web site will host live stats while our web site will again have a Cover It Live blog.
