The Vanderbilt women’s basketball program will play on television 10 times during the upcoming season, including five games that will be nationally televised.

The television schedule, released by the Southeastern Conference in conjunction with its television partners on Tuesday, September 25, includes three games on ESPN2 and a pair of contests on ESPNU. Both stations can be seen nationally. The Commodores will also play games on the nationally syndicated SEC Network, SportSouth and CSS.

The first televised contest will come on January 6 when the Commodores play at Ole Miss on ESPNU.

They return to the airwaves for three straight games at the end of January, starting with the January 24 contest versus Tennessee on SportSouth. Vanderbilt will then play at Alabama on January 27 on the SEC Network before returning to SportSouth on January 31 at Texas A&M.

On February 10, ESPN2 will make the first of two trips to Memorial Gym when defending SEC champion Kentucky visits. A week later, the February 17 contest at Tennessee will also air on ESPN2 and mark the first of five-straight televised contests to end the season.

The February 21 game at Florida will be aired on CSS before ESPN2 returns to Memorial on February 24 for the rematch with Texas A&M. CSS will televise the home finale against Auburn on February 28.

Vanderbilt wraps-up the regular season on March 3 at Georgia. That contest can be seen on ESPNU.

In addition, the entire SEC Tournament will be televised from Duluth, Ga., March 6-10. The opening round games will be seen on FSN on March 6, with SportSouth airing the entire second round March 7. SportSouth will air the afternoon quarterfinals on March 8, with FSN showing the evening games. The semifinals can be seen on ESPNU (March 9) and the March 10 championship game will air on ESPN2.

Any home contest that is not televised can be seen as part of Vanderbilt All-Access on VUCommodores.com.

Every Vanderbilt game can also be heard on the radio in Nashville on WNSR 560 AM. Veteran play-by-play announcer Charlie Mattos will be on the call for his 18th season.
