The SEC announced Monday that Vanderbilt’s game at Missouri on Oct. 6 will start at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised by FSN.
For Vanderbilt, it will be the team’s first league game with the Tigers. Vanderbilt is off this weekend and is 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the SEC. The Tigers will play at Central Florida on Saturday and are 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the SEC. Both teams have league losses to Georgia and South Carolina.
Vanderbilt is 1-2-1 all-time against Missouri with the last meeting coming in Columbia in 1958. The Commodores won that matchup 12-8. Vanderbilt also played at Missouri in 1895, falling 14-0 in the only other meeting between the two in Columbia.
Missouri is in its first year competing in the SEC after finishing 8-5 overall last season and 5-4 in the Big 12. The Tigers and Texas A&M are the newest members of the SEC.
