With the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournament quickly approaching, the National Commodore Club has announced a new priority ticketing process heading into the tournaments.

Active NCC members will receive the first rights to request tickets for the 2012 NCAA Basketball Tournaments. Tickets are limited, and placement of an order will not guarantee you will receive tickets.

Beginning this year, NCC members will use a new process to secure tickets and travel for each round of the tournaments. The ticket allocation process will be based on your NCC group and priority ranking. For each round, each NCC group will be assigned a time to go online to request tickets. To make travel accommodations, Anthony Travel will be available to assist you for each round.

If you are looking to upgrade your group and priority ranking before the NCAA Tournaments, you may do so between now and Friday, March 2. This gift would be in addition to your current year gift and would not replace your necessary contributions for next year. To make an additional gift, call the NCC Office at (615) 322-4114.

The men’s NCAA selection show is Sunday, March 11. On Wednesday, March 7, the NCC will e-mail members with their Ticketmaster account information, which will be required to request tickets online. A second e-mail will be sent when your group’s time to request tickets online opens March 11 or 12. NCC members can request up to four (4) tickets a round.

  • Group 1 and 2 can request tickets Sunday after selection show until Monday at 10 a.m.
  • Group 3 can request tickets Monday from 10:30 a.m. – noon.
  • Group 4 can request tickets Monday from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Group 5 and 6 can request tickets Monday from 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

If there are any tickets remaining, following the NCC’s final purchase window, season ticket holders, who are non-NCC members, will receive first crack at available tickets.

The women’s NCAA selection show is Monday, March 12. Vanderbilt will host the first two rounds of the women’s tournament at Memorial Gym March 18 and 20. Since if Vanderbilt makes the tournament, it will be playing at home, all fan can purchase women’s tickets now.
