Earlier this week, the Vanderbilt lacrosse team welcomed 12-year-old Bishop Mikaelian and her family to practice. The Commodores have adopted Bishop as an honorary member of their team through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

Two notes from the Maryland area the last few weeks. Katherine Dunn of the Baltimore Sun identified VU senior goalkeeper Natalie Wills as the women’s lacrosse player of the week following VU’s 7-5 upset of Duke.
Barrett Neale wrote about the 15 outstanding Division I lacrosse players who went to high school in the state of Maryland. Senior midfield Ally Carey is listed at No. 4.
