Coach Stallings Press Conference
The Commodores hit the road for the second consecutive time when the team travels to Athens, Ga., to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon. The game tips at 12 p.m. CT and will be televised by FSN South. The game can also be heard on the Vanderbilt IMG College Radio Network in the middle Tennessee area and online at vucommodores.com.
Vanderbilt won its last road contest Wednesday night at Ole Miss, 102-76, with Jeffery Taylor and John Jenkins leading the way with 28 and 26 points, respectively. Taylor was 10-15 from the floor and connected on a career-high five made threes, while Jenkins scored 26 points on only five shots from the floor. Jenkins was 5-5, including 4-4 from three, and 12-15 from the free throw line.
Sunday’s meeting will be the second between the two teams this season. Vanderbilt won an earlier meeting this year at Memorial Gym, 77-66, on January 14. Jenkins scored 18 points in the win, while Taylor added 16 for the Commodores.
