One Week To Go
The tenth-ranked Commodores will begin the 2012 season next Friday at No. 3 Stanford. In preparing for the team’s trip to Palo Alto next week the Dores will hold three scrimmages this weekend at Hawkins Field. VU is scheduled to start Friday’s scrimmage at 4 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday’s games slated for 12 p.m. starts. Sophomore Kevin Ziomek and junior Sam Selman are scheduled to pitch Friday afternoon. Freshman Tyler Beede will pitch in Saturday’s scrimmage and junior Drew VerHagen on Sunday.
