SEC announces full baseball TV schedule

Nashville, Tenn. – The Southeastern Conference has announced the full television schedule for the upcoming baseball season with Vanderbilt scheduled to play at least seven games on TV.

The tenth-ranked Commodores’ first TV game will come at top-ranked Florida on Saturday, March 17 during the first weekend of SEC play. The Dores and Gators will be on CSS at 12 p.m. CT. Two-time defending national champion South Carolina visits Hawkins Field at the end of March with CSS airing Saturday’s (March 31) contest at 3 p.m. CT. The Dores host Auburn on Friday, April 13 with first pitch slated for 6 p.m. on CSS. Saturday’s (May 5) tilt at Tennessee will also be broadcast on CSS beginning at 12 p.m. CT. The following weekend the Commodores travel to No. 8 LSU to take on the Tigers with two games televised by Fox Sports Network. Saturday’s (May 12) game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and Sunday’s game at 1 p.m. Vanderbilt’s final regular season series is at home against Ole Miss with Thursday night’s game televised by ESPNU as part of their national weekly SEC baseball package. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. against the Rebels.

The Commodores open the season at No. 3 Stanford Friday, February 17 with a three-game series against the Cardinal. Vandy returns home to begin a stretch of 14 games in Nashville with the Hawkins Field opener against Oakland Wednesday, February 22 at 4 p.m.
