Senior Ally Carey talked with vucommodores.com Tuesday about recently being named to the U.S. women’s national senior team roster for the North American Challenge Cup along with assistant coach Amber Falcone.
Carey also spoke about the Commodores’ 2012 season, which opens this Sunday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. CT when Duke visits the VU Lacrosse Complex. Fans who cannot make it to the Music City this weekend can tune in to the game through a live web cast and statistics on vucommodores.com.
The Commodores are one of five teams in the American Lacrosse Conference that were recently ranked in the IWLCA’s preseason poll. Vanderbilt will play five of the top six teams in the poll this season, including the fifth-ranked Blue Devils. In total, Vanderbilt will play nine of the Top 20 teams in the IWLCA poll.
