The Vanderbilt Commodores head back to Lexington, Kentucky after a two-week break for the Rod McCravy Memorial Track & Field event, beginning this evening with the pole vault and continuing on Saturday.

Kristen Findley, Brionne Williams and Meagan Martin competed strongly for the Dores their last time out, each setting new personal records in their respective events.

“It’s been two weeks, so hopefully we’ve gotten a lot of good work in,” said Head Coach Steve Keith. “We got the rust busted off two weeks ago, so it should be a nice familiar setting for them.”

Martin will again compete in the pole vault this evening, along with juniors Alyson Hasty and Morgan Toone.

Saturday, the Dores will compete in the high jump, 60m hurdles, mile, 400m, 800m, 200m, 3K, and the 1600m relay. It will be the first appearance for some of the distance runners, many of whom competed in the record-breaking cross country season this past fall.
