  • Vanderbilt led 36-32 at the half. John Jenkins and Jeffery Taylor each scored nine points to lead the Commodores.

Post-Game Notes:

  • Vanderbilt moves to 86-48 in the all-time series against Georgia, and is now 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play for the first time since 2009-10 (5-0 start).
  • Kevin Stallings is now 249-152 (13) at Vanderbilt, 372-215 (18) in his career. His record against Georgia is now 16-10.
  • The win was Vanderbilt’s fifth in a row in the series, and the sixth consecutive win against the Bulldogs at Memorial Gym.
  • Vanderbilt was 30-44 from the free throw line in the game, the most makes and attempts at the free throw line since a win over Belmont on December 4, 2010, when the Commodores were 35-45 from the free throw line.
  • VU shot 51.2% from the floor, sixth time this season that has happened. The Commodores are 6-0 in those contests.
  • Vanderbilt outrebounded Georgia, 35-27, and moves to 12-1 on the season when outrebounding their opponent.

  • John Jenkins led Vanderbilt with 18 points, while Jeffery Taylor added 16 points and Lance Goulbourne chipped in 13 points.
  • John Jenkins was 3 for 11 (27.3%) from beyond-the-arc, . It’s his seventh consecutive game making 3 or more 3FG, his 12th this season, and 43rd in his career.
  • Jenkins has scored in double-digit figures in 48 consecutive games, 64 in his career.
