Vanderbilt Bowl Central | Purchase Bowl Tickets | Coach Franklin’s Challenge
For the first time ever, the Commodore Coaches Call-In Show will broadcast Dec. 29 from Memphis.
The Call-In Show will feature Head Coach James Franklin live this Thursday night from B.B. King’s on Beale Street. The one-hour show starts at 6 p.m. Admission into B.B. King’s is $10, with NCC members J.R. and Kailey Hand providing complimentary beverages and appetizers to Commodore fans in attendance.
Vanderbilt IMG Sports Marketing General Manager Jeff Miller hopes all Vanderbilt fans in the Bluff City will pack B.B. King’s to support Franklin, who will guide the Commodores into their fifth all-time postseason appearance against the Cincinnati Bearcats in the 53rd AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
“We are very excited to announce this special live broadcast. The Call-In Show will be a signature event during bowl week,” Miller said. “It’s a great opportunity for Vanderbilt fans to support Coach Franklin and the program.”
Voice of the Commodores Joe Fisher will host the bowl edition show, which comes as the men’s basketball team travels to Milwaukee to face Marquette. Fans attending the Call-In Show also get free admission to the Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball Watch Party and live music later in the evening at B.B. King’s.
The show will air on Classic Hits 97.1 RQQ, the Vanderbilt flagship.
Tickets remain available for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. The game is scheduled Dec. 31, with kickoff at 2:30 p.m.
