During Vanderbilt’s press conference on Dec. 2, Vanderbilt Head Coach James Franklin challenged Vanderbilt fans to support the Commodores at the team’s bowl game.
“I have a challenge that I will make, because this is not just the coaching staff and the administration and the players. This is the whole community. I challenge you to come out and sell the bowl game out. I want the entire community, I want our students, I want our fans, and I want our alumni to come like they’ve never come before.”
Vanderbilt will play Cincinnati in the 2011 AutoZone Liberty Bowl at 2:30 p.m. CT on Dec. 31 in Memphis, Tenn.
