Vanderbilt gets and accepts its official bowl invitation this Sunday (6:30 p.m., Student Life Center). The event is free; the team will be there along with coaches and administrators. Come join the fun.
Vanderbilt fans are fired up about their football team and want the university to do all it can to continue the progress. In that spirit, here are Six Things a Commodore fan can do as part of the “whatever it takes” campaign.
- 1) Purchase tickets in the Vanderbilt section for our bowl game
2) Plan to buy 2012 season tickets
3) Join the NCC as your resources allow
4) The “1%” should consider helping fund major projects
5) Wear more black and gold to ball games
6) Get others to do the same
Is it just me or has there been precious little credit given to David Williams for leading last December’s highly successful search that landed James Franklin? A lot of “full-time” athletic directors and a couple of formerly full-timers would have loved to be as adept.
