Team Receives Send-Off
A few hundred Commodore fans made their way to Vanderbilt’s McGugin Center on Friday afternoon to cheer on the football team as it boarded the team busses to Knoxville for Saturday’s game (6 p.m. CT, ESPNU).
The fans were joined by members of Vanderbilt’s band and cheer squads, which performed as the team prepared to depart Nashville. Those in attendance were treated to popcorn and soft drinks as they waited for members of the team to start boarding the busses.
The travel party, which was comprised of four buses, departed campus shortly after 1 p.m. CT on Friday.
