The Vanderbilt Women’s Cross Country team outran everybody’s expectations at the Wisconsin-Adidas Invitational this past weekend, putting themselves in the national conversation with their second-place finish. They beat 19 Top-30 nationally-ranked teams, including No. 1 Villanova, No. 2 Providence, No. 6 Stanford, No. 7 New Mexico, and No. 8 Syracuse.
