Individual Notes
– Despite uncertainty during the week due to an injury sustained in the second half of the Alabama game, Larry Smith made the start at quarterback
– Senior Chris Marve moved into 12th place all-time in Vanderbilt history for career tackles with 352
– Zac Stacy completed the first pass of his career when he hit Jordan Matthews on a 43-yard touchdown pass to record the first points of the game for Vanderbilt
– Stacy recorded his second rushing touchdown of the season on a 19-yard run with 9:15 left in the game
– Andre Hal’s 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown tied him for fourth longest in Vanderbilt history. It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown since Warren Norman took the ball 80 yards against Georgia Tech in 2009
– Hal’s 157 kickoff return yards are the most for a Commodore this season
– Casey Hayward grabbed the 13th interception of his career, moving him to second all-time in the Commodore record books
– Jerron Seymour recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season when he punched it in from the one-yard line late in the third quarter
– Jordan Rodgers had a career-long rush when he scampered for 40 yards in the fourth quarter. Rodgers’s 80 yards rushing were a career high
– Sean Richardson recorded his second-career sack early in the game, his first since getting to the quarterback against South Carolina on October 23, 2010

– Casey Hayward’s 29-yard run on a double reverse in the first quarter marked a career-long rush

Defense
– The Commodores have continued to dominate the first quarter defensively, only allowing 10 points total so far this season after pitching a shutout against the Bulldogs to start the game
– After Georgia took over on Vanderbilt’s 24-yard line early in the second quarter, the `Dores held the Bulldogs to no yards and kicker Blair Walsh missed the field goal attempt
Offense
– Zac Stacy’s second quarter touchdown pass to Jordan Matthews marked the first TD for Vanderbilt since Stacy had a 77-yard run in the third quarter against Ole Miss on September 17.
– Stacy’s 43-yard toss marked the longest passing touchdown of the season for Vanderbilt
– The offense produced eight first downs in the first half, matching the total from the Alabama game
– The Commodores 19 first downs are the most since the Ole Miss victory, and second most for the season
– Vanderbilt’s four third-down conversions tied a season high
– Vanderbilt’s 13 play, 6:25 yard drive was the longest of the season in terms of plays and time of possession
– The 149 passing yards are tied for the second most this season, falling short of the 177 set against Elon
– The Commodores racked up at least 200 yards rushing for the second time this season
Special Teams
– On 4th and 13 in its own territory with 9:30 remaining in the first half, Vanderbilt sent out place kicker Ryan Fowler as the punter who executed a 35-yard pass on a fake punt
– Georgia attempted six field goals, the most an opponent has attempted against Vanderbilt all season

– The Commodores have racked up over 100 yards of kickoff return yards for the second straight game
