Last February — just two months into his Vanderbilt tenure — football coach James Franklin put together a pool of prospects that rivaled any Commodore signing class in more than a decade.
That first 21-member class along with several preferred walk-on candidates officially moved onto campus Wednesday afternoon in preparation for the start of preseason camp.
Ryan Schulz caught up with a couple of the new Commodores on a day when temperatures reached triple digits. Topics included the favorite possessions they brought from home, living in The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, and the excitement of starting their college experience.
