– This is Vanderbilt’s 10th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
– This is Vanderbilt’s third appearance in the NCAA Super Regional.
– Friday marked the first time Vanderbilt has hosted an NCAA Super Regional game.
– Vanderbilt is one win from reaching its first College World Series.
– The 11 runs scored by Vanderbilt were the most ever by the Commodores in an NCAA Super Regional game.
– Vanderbilt has now scored at least 10 runs in three of four NCAA Tournament games.
– This is the first time Vanderbilt has won the first Super Regional game of the series.
– 10 out of the 11 runs scored by Vanderbilt tonight were with two outs.

Individual Notes
Sonny Gray now has 27 career wins … The all-time leader is Jeff Peeples (1970-73) with 29 … Gray pitched 6.2 innings, allowing four hits and just one run.
Corey Williams pitched the final 2.1 innings without surrendering a hit.
Mike Yastrzemski had a career-high four RBI, topping his previous best of three … Three of Yastrzemski’s RBI came on a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning … The homer was his third of the season and first since April 23.
Jason Esposito hit his ninth homerun of the season and finished with two hits and three RBI.
Tony Kemp went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run.
Conrad Gregor hit his eighth double of the year and went 1-for-2 with two walks.
Aaron Westlake walked in each of his first three appearances … The first and third walk came on four straight pitches.
