Sunday night’s regional championship game, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT first pitch, will begin 50 minutes after the conclusion of the elimination game between Belmont and Troy. Sunday afternoon’s game began at 4 p.m. following a two-hour weather delay at Hawkins Field. The winner of the Belmont-Troy matchup advances to face the undefeated Commodores on Sunday night as part of the double-elimination regional format.
A limited number of outfield seats remain available for tonight’s NCAA Regional championship game.
Ticket sales will continue online at vucommodores.com until 5:15 p.m. CT. The box office adjacent to Hawkins Field also will have walk-up tickets if there are any available. The box office can only accept cash or check as payment for walk-up tickets.
Senior Taylor Hill will take the mound for the Commodores, who are looking to advance to an NCAA Super Regional for the second consecutive year.
