Vanderbilt Head Women’s Basketball Coach Melanie Balcomb will address graduating eighth graders at St. Bernard Academy in Nashville on Thursday evening.
Balcomb will speak to the graduates about the importance of education with an emphasis placed on being a strong student in addition to a strong athlete.
St. Bernard Academy, a coeducational school for grades pre-k through 8, is located just a few blocks south of Vanderbilt’s campus.
