The Vanderbilt University baseball team (42-8, 20-7 SEC) will close out the regular season when it heads to Athens, Ga., to take on the University of Georgia (26-26, 15-12 SEC) in a three-game series (May 19-21). The action will begin at Foley Field on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CT with the game being televised nationally on ESPNU. Friday’s game will begin at 5:30 p.m. while the rubber match will have a 1 p.m. start time on Saturday. All three games will be broadcast live on 560 AM and fans can access up-to-date stats on vucommodores.com.
This marks the final series for the Commodores before the SEC Tournament gets under way on May 25 in Hoover, Ala.
