10:05 a.m. CT – Top seed advances in seven

Fairleigh Dickinson defeated Kutztown, 4-3, to advance to the winner’s bracket to face Vanderbilt. That match is scheduled for a 10:20 a.m. CT and will be played in front of Camera Three.

9:45 a.m. CT – Dores win first round matchup

Vanderbilt weathered a blistering start by Central Missouri and came back to win the opening match of the NCAA Bowling Championship, four games to one.

The Jennies opened with 11 consecutive strikes in route to a 297 victory, but Vanderbilt stayed steady and reeled off four consecutive victories to advance into the second round. It will face the winner of top-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson and Kutztown, who are knotted at two games each in the best of seven match.
