The #18 Commodore women’s golf team will participate in their final regular season tournament this weekend at the PING/ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. The event, which is hosted by Arizona State, will begin Friday and will feature nine of the nation’s top 25 teams.
Head coach Greg Allen will send senior Megan Grehan, junior Marina Alex, sophomores Anna Leigh Keith and Lauren Stratton, and freshman Rene Sobolewski to the tournament.
Besides the Commodores, the field features #1 USC, #2 UCLA, #4 California, #9 Arizona State, #10 Arizona, #11 Pepperdine, Texas, Stanford, TCU, Washington, San Diego State, Denver, Oklahoma State, New Mexico, Oregon State, and Washington State.
The ASU Karsten Golf Course will serve as the host course for the weekend, and it will be set up as a par-72, 6,230-yard format. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. Pacific time on Friday and Saturday, and at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
