NASHVILLE – The 15th-ranked Commodore lacrosse team plays host to seventh-ranked Stanford on Sunday, March 27, at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex. The opening draw is scheduled for Noon CT.
Vanderbilt (5-4) is looking to get back on track following an 11-8 loss at American Lacrosse Conference rival Penn State last Sunday. The Commodores are led in scoring by junior Courtney Kirk’s 28 points. A total of five Dores have scored at least 10 goals so far this season.
Stanford brings an unbeaten 8-0 record into Sunday’s game following wins at Cincinnati and Louisville in the past week. The Cardinal is led in scoring by Leslie Foard’s 21 goals.
Following Sunday’s game, the Commodores will hit the road for three straight contests away from Nashville. The road trip begins on Wednesday, March 30, in Louisville before heading out to Baltimore, Md. (John Hopkins) and Columbus, Ohio (Ohio State).
