The #18-ranked Vanderbilt women’s golf team travels to Greensboro, N.C., this weekend to participate in the 2011 Bryan Intercollegiate at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center. UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest will serve as host of the events.
The Champions Course at the Bryan Park Golf Club will be set up as a par 72, 6,386-yard layout with fixed tee times set for Friday and Saturday at 8:20 a.m. EST and a shotgun start on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. Eighteen holes will be played each day.
The field for the tournament includes No. 6 Duke; No. 8 Virginia; No. 14 Tennessee; No. 15 Wake Forest; No. 17 Michigan State; No. 18 Vanderbilt; No. 19 North Carolina; No. 30 Florida State; No. 31 Ohio State; No. 35 South Carolina; No. 37 Washington; No. 39 Northwestern; No. 41 Louisville, College of Charleston, N.C. State, UNC Greensboro, and UNC Wilmington.
The Commodores will send senior Megan Grehan, junior Marina Alex, sophomores Anna Leigh Keith and Lauren Stratton, and freshman Rene Sobolewski.
