Vanderbilt Head Coach James Franklin will appear in-studio tonight on the CSS SportsNite show that airs on cable television stations across the Southeast.
Franklin, in Atlanta today to gather with Vanderbilt alumni at a reception this evening at the Georgia World Congress Center prior to the Commodore men’s basketball game against LSU, will appear for a brief segment with SportsNite co-hosts Bob Neal and Matt Stewart. The interview is expected to air at approximately 6:15 p.m., ET.
As the taped interview airs on CSS, Franklin will actually be gathering with Commodore fans at a special reception scheduled in the convention center next to the Georgia Dome, site of the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament. The event is co-hosted by the university’s Atlanta alumni chapter and National Commodore Club (NCC).
Fans planning to cheer on Kevin Stallings’ men’s basketball squad when they tip against LSU at 10 p.m. ET can still attend the reception introducing Franklin. The two-hour event, to be held in rooms C202-203 of the World Congress Center, costs $20 per person, starts at 5:30 p.m. ET. It includes hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
