Malaria kills a child every thirty seconds. There are 350 to 500 million cases of malaria illness per year. Malaria is 100% preventable and treatable.
A single act of generosity can impact the lives of millions around the world, and with Vanderbilt Buzzkill, the Commodores are hoping to raise awareness and promote a 3-on-3 tournament later this spring to raise money to buy nets for the children of Africa.
Saturday is Vanderbilt Buzzkill Day, as the Commodores announce their 2011 Vanderbilt Buzzkill Tournament.
