The Vanderbilt women’s golf team begins its 2011 spring season when they travel to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship in New Orleans, La. The tournament is hosted by Tulane University, and will take place at the English Turn Golf & Country Club.
The Commodores, #13 in the latest NGCA poll, will join 11 other top-25 teams in the tournament at English Turn, which annually hosts a PGA Tour event.
Leading the way for Vanderbilt is junior Marina Alex, currently ranked number 10 in the latest individual rankings.
