To begin, I just want to say how sorry I am for the inconsistency of the writing of my blogs lately. Between the season and school I just feel that I have not had the time. However, I am back and here to stay! We have had some ups and downs in February ( UT and Kentucky being our down games) but if we finish out the last two SEC games as strong as we should, we could be in a really good position when the SEC tournament begins next weekend.

For those of you who were at the game on Sunday you saw that Vickie Woosley was honored as the staff member of the game. Vickie works with our team and words cannot describe how much she means to all of us. Not only does she work with our team, but also she works with many other teams at Vanderbilt. She is an athletic psychologist but, to be honest, she is much more than that. There are some people that simply come to work just to get through the day and collect their paycheck, but I must tell you this lady does her job remarkably well and is committed to making all of us better people not just athletes. It’s obvious when someone really cares about you and your success and Vickie Woosley is one of those people. She truly is one in a million and I know I am speaking for all the athletes when I say THANK YOU for all you do for us.

It is hard to believe that Senior Night is coming this Thursday. As most of you know our three seniors are Rebecca Silinski, Hannah Tuomi, and Jence Rhoads. Not only are they terrific teammates and my roommates, but they are three of my best friends. Words cannot describe how much easier they made my transition here from Georgia. I have made memories with each of them that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It has been an honor to have played on the court with them as well as being able to get to know them off the court. I know that their success, just like their careers as Commodores, will follow them for the rest of their lives. So Jence, Hannah, and Beccs thank you for all that you do. Thank you for being there for me through the good times and bad and accepting me so warmly. I love you all and you will deeply be missed next year. Go ‘Dores!
