Starting Lineup
– Vanderbilt started junior Brad Tinsley and sophomore John Jenkins at guard, juniors Jeffery Taylor and Lance Goulbourne at forward and junior Festus Ezeli at center.
– The Commodores move to 5-4 when stating this lineup.
– Taylor has now started all 83 games of his career.
– Tinsley made his 75th start, Ezeli his 31st, Jenkins his 25th and Goulbourne his ninth.

– Vanderbilt drops to 9-16 against Arkansas and 7-4 when playing in Memorial Gym.
– Head coach Kevin Stallings falls to 4-10 against the Razorbacks and an even 3-3 at home.
– The `Dores fell to the Razorbacks in Memorial Gym for the first time since dropping 82-67 on March 3, 2007.
– The Commodores won the opening tip and are 14-2 when doing so.
Steve Tchiengang made a three-point basket to extend Vanderbilt’s consecutive game streak with a three-pointer to 782 games.
– Vanderbilt lost at home for the first time this season and the first time losing in Memorial since falling to South Carolina 77-73 on March 6, 2010.
– The Commodores allowed a season-high 89 points, the most points an opponent has scored against Vanderbilt since Georgia put up 94 in an overtime game in Memorial Gym on February 25, 2010.
– The 11-point margin of defeat is the largest since falling 72-58 at Georgia on February 6, 2010 and the largest at home since dropping to Florida 94-69 on January 25, 2009.
– This marked the first time an opposing player has scored 30 or more points against Vanderbilt since Casey Mitchell of West Virginia notched 31 on November 11, 2010.
– Vanderbilt’s 96.2% (25-for-26) from the free throw line is the best percentage since 83.3% (5-for-6) in the season opener against Presbyterian on November 12.
– Arkansas shot 57.4% (31-for-54) from the field, marking the highest percentage an opponent has shot against the Commodores this season and topping the previous high of 56.1% that Marquette shot on December 29, 2010. The field goal percentage was the highest at Memorial Gym since Kentucky shot 58.1% against the Commodores on Feb. 25, 2007. Vanderbilt won that game, 68-66.
– For the second time this season, the Commodores trailed with five minutes remaining in the game and fall to 0-2 when doing so.
– The seven point half time deficit is the largest since trailing by 11 to West Virginia on November 19.
– Vanderbilt’s 15 free throws in the first half are the most since making 21 against Davidson on January 2.
– This marked the first time the Commodores were perfect from the free throw line in the first half this season.
– For the first time this season, Vanderbilt was held to only one three-point basket in the first half.

First-half notes:
– Vanderbilt won the opening tipoff.
Festus Ezeli put in a mid-range jumper to record the first points of the game at the 19:37 mark.
– Ezeli added two points when he made the first free throws of the game with 17:37 remaining in the half to give the Commodores a 4-3 lead.
– With the game tied at 11 and 14:24 remaining in the half, Steve Tchiengang hit a three-pointer to give the Commodores the lead and keep the three-point streak alive.
– Vanderbilt went on a 6-2 run to close out the last 2:45 of the half and cut the Razorbacks’ lead to 43-36.
Festus Ezeli leads the team with 12 points and three rebounds.

John Jenkins scored the first nine points of the half for the Commodores off two three-pointers, a layup and a free throw.
– With 11 minutes remaining, Jeffery Taylor tipped in a basket to reach double-digits in points and cut the Arkansas lead to 14.
Jeffery Taylor hit an open three-pointer with 7:52 remaining to close Arkansas’ lead to 67-59.

Player notes:
Festus Ezeli recorded his 13th game scoring in double-figures this season.
– Ezeli matched a career-high in points against SEC opponents with 18, previously set against Georgia on January 12.
Rod Odom had a career-high 12 points, breaking his previous best of 11 set against Western Kentucky and West Virginia.
– This marked John Jenkins’s 11th 20-point game of the season and 13th of his career.
– Jenkins’s 24 points are the most he has scored at home this season.
– Jenkins was 10-for-10 from the free throw line, marking the 11th time this season he has gone perfect from the line.
