Starting Lineup
– Vanderbilt started junior Brad Tinsley and sophomore John Jenkins at guard, juniors Jeffery Taylor and Lance Goulbourne at forward and junior Festus Ezeli at center.
– The Commodores are now 2-2 when stating this lineup
– Taylor has now started all 78 games of his career.
– Tinsley made his 70th start, Ezeli his 26th, Jenkins his 20th and Goulbourne his fourth.

First-half notes:
– Vanderbilt won the opening tip
Lance Goulbourne made a layup at the 19:30 mark to record the first points of the game.
Jeffery Taylor hit a three-point bucket with 17:17 remaining to give Vanderbilt a 12-7 lead and keep the three-point streak alive.
– With 13:49 remaining, Jeffery Taylor put in a dunk to take a 19-15 lead.
Festus Ezeli made a fade-away jumper over a Georgia defender to give Vanderbilt a 24-20 lead at the 10:37 mark.
Rod Odom scored the first points for the bench when he hit a three-point field goal with 7:56 remaining in the half to put the Commodores up 30-22.
Brad Tinsley hit two free throws to give Vanderbilt a 36-30 lead with 1:58 remaining.
– With 1:20 remaining, Festus Ezeli made a layup to give Vanderbilt its first field goal since the 6:09 mark.
Jeffery Taylor leads the Commodores in scoring with 11 points while Festus Ezeli has the high in rebounds with six.

Second-half notes:
Jeffery Taylor scored Vanderbilt’s first points of the half when he made a layup at the 19:15 mark.
Festus Ezeli was fouled while putting in a layup and made the following free throw to give him ten points and the Commodores a 49-39 lead.
– With 15:22 remaining Kyle Fuller notched two free throws – the first of his career – to give the Commodores a 51-41 lead.
John Jenkins hit a three-pointer over a Bulldog defender to give the Commodores a 56-47 lead with 13:20 remaining.
Brad Tinsley drove the lane and made a layup to give the Commodores a 65-57 lead with 7:22 left in the game.

Player notes:
Brad Tinsley and Jeffery Taylor are the only two players to make an assist in all 15 games this season.
– Tinsley has made an assist in 26 consecutive games, dating back to the Tennessee game on February 9 last season.
Kyle Fuller made his first free throw of his career with 15:22 remaining in the second half.
Festus Ezeli recorded his third-career double-double by scoring 18 points and grabbing eight boards. All three double-doubles have come this season.
– Ezeli matched a career-high in steals with four with the last time coming against Belmont on December 4, 2010.
Lance Goulbourne’s 10 rebounds marked the third time in his career and second-consecutive game he has had double-digit rebounds.
