The Vanderbilt Commodores emerge from a 10-day, final-exam break to take on Southeastern Louisiana at 6 p.m. at Memorial Gym. The game can be heard on the Vanderbilt Sports Network from IMG College and vucommodores.com. There will be no television for the contest, but a live webcast is available on vucommodores.com as a part of the All-Access package.

Last Meeting: Vanderbilt defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 80-58, on November 22, 2002, at Memorial Gym. Vanderbilt-Missouri Tidbits
The Commodores had a five-game winning streak ended in their last time out at Missouri on December 8th in an 85-82 loss to the Tigers. It was Vanderbilt’s first overtime game and first true road game of the season. John Jenkins led all Commodore players with 23 points.
– Vanderbilt dropped its first true road contest of the season against Missouri.
– Vanderbilt is now 82-102 all-time in games against teams ranked in the AP Top 25, 18-123 in games on the road all-time against ranked opponents.
– Vanderbilt is now 27-48 in games played against ranked opponents and 6-24 in road games against ranked teams in the Stallings’ era.
– VU played its first overtime game of the 2010-11 campaign, and their first since a 96-94 win over Georgia on February 25, 2010. The Commodores are now 55-49 in overtime games.
– Vanderbilt’s last overtime loss came at Alabama on March 8, 2008 (73-78).
– The Commodores shot 52.5% for the game against Missouri, the sixth time this season VU has shot over 50%. Wednesday was the first loss when shooting 50% or better.
– Vanderbilt was 11-for-22 from the charity stripe (50%), its lowest of the season. The previous low was 69.2% (18-26) against Nebraska on November 18.
– Missouri shot only 38.3% from the floor, the fifth time Vanderbilt has held its opponent to under 40% from the floor. The Commodores are now 3-2 in those games.
– Missouri outrebounded Vanderbilt, 45-40, including 21-8 on the offensive glass. The Tigers outscored VU in second-chance points for the game, 12-7.
– Missouri attempted 81 shots in the game, the most by an opponent all season, and the most since South Carolina attempted 81 on February 28, 2009.
– The Commodores made nine threes, compared to eight for Missouri, the eighth time VU has made more threes than their opponent
– The Commodores had 10 blocks as a team, which tied for the most in the Stallings era (10 vs. Southern Miss (1/2/09); vs. MTSU (1/4/10); vs. Manhattan (12/30/09)).

Player notes
– John Jenkins led the team with 23 points, his sixth 20+ effort of the season. He was 7-for-14 from the field, 5-for-10 from three, and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
– Jeffery Taylor scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, his sixth career double-double and his first of 2010-11.
– Festus Ezeli tallied 16 points, his seventh double-figure scoring game of the season and 10th of his career. He also pulled down nine rebounds. Ezeli was 6-of-7 from the floor. He is now 28-for-35 from the field in his last four contests.
– Ezeli also had a career-high six blocks, the first time since Julian Terrell blocked six against Appalachian State on December 22, 2003.
– Lance Goulbourne scored in double figures with 11 points, his third double-figure game of the season and ninth of his career. He also added a career-high five assists.
– Rod Odom had a career-high four steals, and is now 7-for-8 in his last three games from beyond-the-arc.
– Taylor, 43 minutes, and Jenkins, 41 minutes, each played career highs in minutes.

Southeastern Louisiana is 5-3 after dropping a 59-38 decision to Alabama on Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa. Trent Hutchin leads the Lions in scoring with 16.6 points per game and is shooting over 47.9% from three-point range on the season (23-48). Brandon Fortenberry (10.4) and David Ndoumba (10.4) also average double digits. Ndoumba leads the team on the glass with 7.4 rebounds per contest.
Stallings Versus Southeastern Louisiana
Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings is 1-0 Southeastern Louisiana. His lone win as a head coach came in the Commodores’ lone meeting with the Lions in 2002.
