Starting Lineup
· Vanderbilt started sophomore John Jenkins, as well as juniors Jeffery Taylor and Brad Tinsley at guard…red-shirt juniors Festus Ezeli and Andre Walker started at center and guard, respectively…this is the fifth time this season and sixth time total that Vanderbilt has used this starting lineup.
· Jeffery Taylor leads the team with 71 career starts…Brad Tinsley made his 62nd career start while Andre Walker started for the 39th time…Festus Ezeli appeared in his 68th game; including his 18th start…John Jenkins has made 14 starts and played in 38 games.
· The Commodores have used this starting lineup in all seven games this season.

Postgame Notes:
· Vanderbilt won the opening tipoff and now moves to 5-0 when doing so.
· Kevin Stallings now holds a career record of 4-1 against Western Kentucky
· Vanderbilt has now made a three-pointer in 770 consecutive games, a streak that began in 1986, the first year of the three-point line.
· Western Kentucky’s 17 first-half points were the least Vanderbilt has allowed since heading into the half up 31-17 on Middle Tennessee State on November 24, 2008.
· The eight field goals made by Western Kentucky are the least Vanderbilt has allowed this season.
· The Commodores are averaging 40 points in the first half when playing in Memorial Gym this season.

First-half notes:
· The Commodores won the opening tip and Festus Ezeli made a layup for the first points of the game with 19:48 remaining.
· With 16:53 remaining, John Jenkins kept the three-point streak alive by draining a bucket in front of the Western Kentucky bench.
· Leading 14-6, Festus Ezeli drove the lane with 10:17 remaining to give Vanderbilt its first field goal in four and a half minutes.
· John Jenkins mad a three-pointer and a layup in a span of 24 seconds to give Vanderbilt a 24-10 lead with 4:53 remaining.
· With 2:43 remaining, Kyle Fuller hit his first three of the season to give Vanderbilt a 32-13 lead.
· The Commodores made six first-half three-pointers for the second consecutive game.
· Nine players saw action while eight recorded points in the first half.
· Vanderbilt’s stingy defense held Western Kentucky to 17 points, the first time holding an opponent to less than 20 points in the first half since Ole Miss scored 19 on February 20, 2009.

· Brad Tinsley made a jumper inside the paint with 18:16 remaining to give Vanderbilt its first points of the half.
· With 13:33 remaining, Festus Ezeli put in a dunk to give Vanderbilt a 50-30 lead.
· John Jenkins made his fourth three-point field goal of the game with 9:14 remaining to give Vanderbilt a 61-41 lead.
· With 7:41 remaining, Steve Tchiengang recorded his first points of the game off a three-pointer to give the Commodores a 66-45 lead.

Player notes:
· Kyle Fuller made his first-career three-point basket with 2:43 remaining in the first half.
· Brad Tinsley and Jeffery Taylor have each recorded an assist in all seven games this season while Tinsley has recorded one in 17 consecutive games dating back to February 9, 2010 against Tennessee.
· John Jenkins has made a three-point basket in six consecutive games.
· Jenkins is the only Vanderbilt player to score in double-figures every game this season.
