Starting Lineup
· Vanderbilt started sophomore John Jenkins, as well as juniors Jeffery Taylor and Brad Tinsley at guard…red-shirt juniors Festus Ezeli and Andre Walker started at center and guard, respectively…this is the second time Vanderbilt has used this starting lineup with the last game being a 76-69 loss to Western Kentucky December 11, 2009.
· This marks the first time since the 2009 Western Kentucky game that Vanderbilt has no seniors in the starting lineup.
· Jeffery Taylor leads the team with 65 career starts…Brad Tinsley is making his 56th career start while Andre Walker is starting for the 33rd time…Festus Ezeli is appearing in his 62nd game, including his 12th start…John Jenkins has made eight starts and played in 32 games.
Postgame Notes:
· Brad Tinsley recorded the first triple double in Vanderbilt history with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
· This was the first meeting between the two schools.
· Vanderbilt now advances to 10-1 against Big South schools.
· Head Coach Kevin Stallings moves to 11-1 in season openers with the lone loss coming against Georgetown on November 15, 2006.

First-half notes:
· Vanderbilt won the opening tip-off and scored the first five points off of a Taylor dunk and a two-point jumper and free-throw by Tinsley.
· At 17:05, Taylor sparked a 9-2 run with a three-pointer and scored seven of the nine total points in the 2:13 stretch to give the Commodores a ten point lead.
· Ezeli got the first foul for the Commodores with 6:22 remaining.
· Brad Tinsley hit a three-pointer with 2:43 remaining to give the Commodores a 37-22 lead.
· Rod Odom and Kyle Fuller saw their first collegiate action when they entered the game with 11:41 remaining in the first half.
