The Commodores helped raise awareness for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) by participating at a local walk.
The walk raised over $240,000 with the money going to nationally directed ALS research and other ALS-related programs. The Nashville chapter has seen amazing growth over the last few years growing from seven patients in 2003 to over 180 in 2009.
