The Commodores are currently underway at the NCAA Fall Preview presented by Callaway Golf in College Station, Texas, where they will compete against 16 of the top teams from the 2009-10 season. Vanderbilt, who finished seventh at the 2010 NCAA Championship, earned an automatic birth to the prestigious event.

The Skinny
This is one of the premiere tournaments in women’s golf and the event gives teams a chance to survey the golf course that will host the National Championship. Since the Commodores and the Vanderbilt Legends Club host the 2012 National Championship, VU will host this same event next year.
54-holes will played over three days – Monday through Wednesday. Fixed tee times will begin at 8 a.m. each day.
The Field
A who’s who of women’s collegiate golf – Host Texas A&M, #1 Purdue, No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 USC, No. 4 Alabama, No. 6 Duke, No. 7 Auburn, No. 8 Wake Forest, No. 9 Virginia, No. 10 Vanderbilt, No. 11 Stanford, No. 13 Georgia, No. 14 Pepperdine, No. 16 LSU, No. 17 Tennessee, No. 22 Tulane, No. 23 Michigan State, Arizona State (individuals only) and Texas.
The Course
The tournament will be held at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. The course will be set up at a Par 72, 6,271-yard layout.
