Joe Fisher’s Mailbag Submit Your Question
Wondering about a player, a past game or another topic involving the Commodores? The Voice of the Commodores Joe Fisher will answer a variety of email questions from fans during the season on VUcommodores.com.
Joe, why didn’t Walker May see any playing time against Northwestern?
— Russ (Murfreesboro)
Russ, Walker has had an injury that kept him out until now. My guess is that you will see him this weekend.
What is the definition of a high hit on defense? I hate to see a referee affect the outcome of a game like last Saturday night. Your thoughts on this?
— Joey (Lewisburg)
The “High Hit” is new to all of us. It is my understanding that the Big 10 contacted the SEC and said that it was not the correct call. From all I’ve ever been taught, shoulder to shoulder is ok.
Joe, what’s the status on Jamie Graham, any chance he plays this weekend against LSU?
— William (Hendersonville)
Jamie could likely play some this weekend. His groin injury has slowed him, but he wants to be out there.
How much playing time do you think Wesley Tate will see this season?
— Steve (Hendersonville)
Steve, I think you will see Wesley in many more situations. As time goes on, I think you see him in numerous situations, especially in short yardage.
