Resodding Hawkins Field (08/12/2010)

(VUcommodores.com) - August 12, 2010 - The infield and parts of left-field at Vanderbilt's Hawkins Field was resodded on Thursday. SportsTurf Solutions of Gallatin, Tenn., performed the project and started resodding the field at 3 a.m., on Thursday. SportsTurf recently worked on the Tennessee Titans LP Field. The sod that was laid at Hawkins Field Thursday was grown in southern Georgia.
