Grehan named to NGCA All-America Scholar team

Vanderbilt rising senior women’s golfer Megan Grehan was named as an All-American scholar by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) in 2009-10 in an announcement made by the organization on Monday. The selection marks the third consecutive year Grehan has been chosen for the prestigious team.

Grehan, who is majoring in Human and Organizational Development, had a stroke average of 76.1 in 2009-10.

The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Teams for Division I, II & III were announced Tuesday with a total of 494 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
