TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Vanderbilt will face Florida State in Game 3 of the NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional Sunday at Noon p.m. CT inside Dick Howser Stadium. The winner advances to the College World Series in Omaha, while the loser’s season will come to an end.
The game will be televised on ESPN and can also be seen online via ESPN3.com. Fans can also tune into Joe Fisher’s radio call on 560 AM and VUCommodores.com.
The Seminoles took the series opener, 9-8, Friday behind Mike McGee’s two-out solo homer in the bottom of the ninth. Vanderbilt evened the series after right-hander Sonny Gray and left-hander Grayson Garvin limited Florida State to just two runs on 10 hits in a 6-2 win Saturday afternoon.
