NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore goalkeeper Natalie Wills picked up a pair of awards for her play against Binghamton and Florida. Wills was named the ALC Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday. WomensLacrosse.com also named the Maryland native to its Division I weekly Honor Roll.

In two wins at Binghamton and Florida, Wills totaled 23 saves while only allowing 18 goals.

It is the second time this season Wills has been named Defensive Player of the Week by the American Lacrosse Conference. She was also honored for her play earlier in the year against Boston University.

For the 2010 season, Wills has recorded 130 saves. She currently ranks second in the ALC for total saves and third in save percentage (.476).

The No. 8 Commodores will return to action on Saturday, April 24, when they travel to face No. 2 Northwestern. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT.
