Track heads to Knoxville for Sea Ray Relays

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt women’s track team is heading to Knoxville, Tenn. to the University of Tennessee to compete in the Sea Ray Relays Wednesday-Saturday, April 7-10.

The Commodores are coming off a strong showing at the Pepsi Florida Relays, where the `Dores came away with three top-ten finishes. Sophomore Louise Hannallah registered the highest individual finish for the Commodores with a 5th place finish in the 5000 meter run. Hannallah clocked a time of 17:02.82.

The VU sprint medley relay, consisting of sophomores Teegan Hill and Anna Carr and juniors Taylor Jackson and Rita Jorgensen, came in 4th place with a time of 3:56.42.

“With a new season best of 46.56 at the Pepsi Florida Relays, the ladies feel good and are looking forward to going under 46 seconds at Sea Ray,” Vanderbilt Head Coach D’Andre Hill commented.
