Since the Vanderbilt bowling team will be competing at the NCAA Championship April 8 – 10, the Department of Student Athletics has announced that the women’s basketball team’s annual recognition banquet has been postponed indefinitely. The decision to postpone from the planned April 8 date was made in conjunction with Vice Chancellor David Williams, Head Coach Melanie Balcomb and Associate Director Candice Lee so that key department personnel would be free to attend the bowling finals in New Jersey.
“I believe it is important for our bowling team to have the full support of our Athletics Department and Commodore fans,” says Coach Balcomb.
