Starting Lineups
– Vanderbilt started senior Jermaine Beal, sophomore Brad Tinsley and sophomore Jeffery Taylor at guard … sophomore Steve Tchiengang started at forward and junior A.J. Ogilvy started at center … It was the first time this season and 16th time overall that Vanderbilt has used this starting lineup … Vanderbilt went 9-6 with this lineup during the 2008-09 season and is now 1-0 this season.
Steve Tchiengang was in the lineup for the Commodores due to an injury suffered by Andre Walker … Before today’s game, Vanderbilt had used the same starting lineup 11 straight games.
– Taylor made his 55th consecutive start and has started every game of his career … Tinsley made the 52nd start of his career and 35th in a row, starting every game since Jan. 31, 2009 at Auburn … After having his streak of 70-straight starts snapped against Western Kentucky on Dec. 11, Beal made the 89th of his career … Ogilvy started for the 12th game in a row after not starting the previous four games … Ogilvy made his 19th start of the season and 80th of his career.
