NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt’s signing class of Blake Bazarnik and Roger Briggs received recognition on Monday when tennisrecruiting.net ranked the signing class No. 10 in its 2010 Winter Rankings.
The ranking is the second highest of any SEC school (Georgia). It is the second straight year Vanderbilt’s signing class has been ranked in the top 10 after being ranked No. 7 last year.
A native of Kildeer, Ill., Bazarnik is ranked No. 15 in the nation and No. 1 in Illinois by tennisrecruiting.net.
Briggs, a Nashville native, is ranked 168th nationally and No. 2 in Tennessee by tennisrecruiting.net.
Duke’s class was ranked No. 1 followed by UCLA, Michigan, Georgia and Notre Dame.
