Canada’s U-20 team, featuring Vanderbilt midfielder Chelsea Stewart, defeated Guatemala 3-1 on Sunday at CONCAF’s Women’s Championship in Guatemala City.
Canada finished with nine points atop Group A and will face the runner-up from Group B on Thursday. Mexico and the United States will face off Monday to determine the group winner and runner-up. Both finalists and the third-place game winner will qualify for the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in July in Germany.
