Starting Lineups
– Vanderbilt started senior Jermaine Beal and sophomores Jeffery Taylor and Brad Tinsley at guard … sophomore Andre Walker started at forward and junior A.J. Ogilvy at center. This was the fifth time Vanderbilt has used this starting lineup during the 2009-10 season and the sixth time ever … Vanderbilt is 5-1 all-time with the lineup and 4-1 this season.
– Beal leads the team with 72 career starts, including 68 straight … Beal has now played in a team-high 105 career games for the Commodores … Ogilvy made the 66th start of his career and has played in 69 games … Taylor made his 37th consecutive start and has started every game of his career … Tinsley made the 34th start of his career and 17th in a row, starting every game since Jan. 31, 2009 at Auburn … The start by Walker was the seventh of his career … Before this season, his only start was against MTSU on Nov. 24, 2009 when he suffered a season-ending knee injury.

First Half Notes – Vanderbilt 39, Missouri 33
– Vanderbilt built a 5-0 advantage to start the game and increased their lead to seven, 16-9, following a basket by John Jenkins with 13:25 to play in the half.
– Missouri took its first lead of the game at the 8:04 mark of the half when Kim English hit a jumper to give MU a 24-23 lead.
– Vanderbilt’s Brad Tinsley gave the Commodores the lead again when he hit a three-pointer with 7:10 to play, giving VU a 26-24 lead.
– A pair of free throws by Missouri’s Keith Ramsey at the 7:03 mark produced the first tie of the game, 26-26.
– Missouri’s Zaire Taylor scored 10 of the team’s first 22 points.
– Vanderbilt’s Jeffery Taylor’s first of two free throws with 2:46 to play made him the first Commodore to reach double figures in points.

– Leading 41-37, Vanderbilt went on a 13-4 run to extend its lead to 13, 54-41, following a three-pointer by John Jenkins with 14:56 to play. The run began with an A.J. Ogilvy jumper with 18:37 to play … The lead was the team’s largest of the game at that point.
– With 5:29 to play, Vanderbilt took its largest lead of the game when A.J. Ogilvy scored to give the Commodores a 14-point lead, 78-64.

A.J. Ogilvy finished with one block and now has 111 in his career, which is third in school history … Ogilvy trails Julian Terrell (116 blocks) for second place in career blocks … During the season-opener against Lipscomb, Ogilvy became the second VU player to post 1,000 points and 100 blocks in a career … Will Perdue (1,281 points and 157 blocks) is the only other VU player to accomplish the feat … Ogilvy also became just the fourth player in VU history with 100 or more blocks in his career.

Jeffery Taylor finished in double figures in scoring (18 points) for the 27th time in his career … Taylor has scored in double figures in all but one game this season … Taylor also finished with 11 rebounds, matching a career high and giving him a double-double for the second game in a row and fifth time in his career … By posting a double-double in consecutive games, Taylor became the first Commodore to do so since Matt Freije in 2004 against South Carolina (Jan. 28, 2004) Kentucky (Jan. 31, 2004).
Andre Walker posted a career-high and team-high 12 rebounds … His previous high was nine against Cincinnati earlier this year … Walker’s three blocks were a career high.
